Pump shutting off

My pump will shut off while on a job. The model is a clean master HP. Anyway twice now the pump shuts off. Just quits while I am working. I don't use this machine everyday as it is a backup. I think both times it happened over the last week, I would shut it off to add water or do something else and it would not turn back on. Then I get the machine back home and the pump runs again. Is it overheating? It never happened before this week and the pump in there is over two years old. Thanks for any help.

Is there a low water shut off on your fresh tank?

If so, bypass it electronically to test
