Aproximately how long should it take to replace one of the heat exchangers in a Hydramaster TM. I'm trying to get a general idea due to the fact I'm pretty sure my local repair guy is trying gouge me on labor....which he has a bad habit of doing. Thanks for any help

The exhaust heat exchanger? If so, after doing it a few times now, I can have mine out in 20 min. Are you replacing the whole exchanger housing and all? If you're just replacing the exchanger inside the housing drilling out each rivet will take about an 30min. This may vary per unit though. What machine do you have?

Time to find a new repair guy.

Or start doing it yourself, it's really not that hard to do unless you're Marty.
