Question: How do you know a pump is done?

make a QD adapter for your fresh water hose that will connect to the wand .
as long as the water is on in the joint, BAM...you can rinse

the flow would get it done .
It's an emergency MacGuiver to get a job finished that doesn't involve electric and pumps ..which are little more than a stop gap measure for a crippled machine themselves

I agree that is why I wouldn't want a higher PSI than 200 that way it is still urgent but you can continue to work for days without disruption to the consumer except 1 power cord

You could change that pump in 30 minutes Greg.

Loosen the tension bolt near the pump drain.
Remove belts.
Remove two fittings: 3/4" inlet hose, and 1/2" outlet hose
Remove 4 mounting bolts.

New pump:

Attach 4 mounting bolts.
Reattach two fittings to inlet and outlet using teflon tape on threads
Put on belts
Tighten pump tension bolt
Check and fill oil

Pressure test for leaks
