I got invited to bid on a couple of buildings of a nearby city. It involves four different
buildings. Mostly night work during holiday weekends, the spaces are between 3k to 10k each
and they will schedule the cleaning dates. The total is about 100k, 800 chairs and 62 sofas.
The contract reads that it must be TM cleaning. Where should I be as far as pricing per
sq foot. If I can't make a profit, I am not interest as this is going to be a pain in the ass.
I have never bid on anything this size before.
Thank You all for your response.

given what you just posted, you should have your own answer, Luis

No one here knows how much you need to make a profit.
Some outfits can make a profit at 9 cents sf
Others might need twice that to break even
and I suspect Ron Werner and his obsessive compulsive disorder would lose money @ 18 cents sf

find out what your break even point is, then add as much or as little profit as you think it's worth to "you"

Ask the price you want to make. IF you get it great, if you dont, then move on to the next job.
