Raffle for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training Official Thread!
Over the past 4 years Superior Cleaning Solutions has been helping to raise money for the fight to rid the world of blood born cancers. The reason we got involved with this particular fundraiser was because of Barry and Carol Costa who lost their daughter Kim to this horrible disease. I also like many others have lost a family member (my father) to cancer.
When we had decided to get involved we were only holding a small local raffle during our customer appreciation day. This just wasn’t enough so over the years we have pushed a little harder and have given a lot more to this fight.
Now “our” little raffle includes suppliers and manufactures that cross all boundaries and even includes those that probably wish I would get run over by a truck ;o)
I mentioned that we are giving more to this fight and we (well at least Lora is) have joined the Team in Training and Lora will be running the Disney ½ Marathon in September in Kim Costa’s Memory. We never got to meet her in this life but through her father she has touched our lives in a way that can only be paid back by paying it forward.
Now for the details. You can order raffle tickets ($5 each) several ways. The first way is you can make a direct donation below. Just make sure to let us know you donated
to Lora’s Team in Training Donation Page.
Next you can call us with your credit card. We will send you an invoice for the IRS. Just so you know, we cover all credit card fees so if you send $100 the L&L Society gets $100
You can mail us a check (cash if your brave or want to bring it in).
Please make sure you include all your contact information so we can make sure you get your stuff.
The raffle will be held on June 11th during our CAD. You do not need to be present to win but you are responsible for the cost of shipping should you win.
What is there to win? Well here is the most up to date list but items are still being added and if you wish to donate a prize your more then welcome to. Doesn’t matter what it is, and it doesn’t have to be cleaning related (last year we gave away coffee and this year Lora’s mother is donating time for genealogy research)…
