Had a 5th floor empty Saturday morn, so I picked up an extra 60 foot length of Neptune 1/4 in. While I was there, I had the hoser cut about 6 inches off all my hoses, new 1/4 " fittings, new bend restrictors. I then had a bag full of new HF QD's that I replaced on every hose. Small price to pay for a little "hose" security. I don't know....I never have any issues with neptune hose, even with the Genesis peaking at 300* sometimes.

I also put ball valves on the working end of each hose.

Makes changing hoses and tools easier under pressure.

I always use Parker ball valves....a little bulky, but always work well. When using for tile and high psi, I hold open the tool valve before opening the ball valve....it seems to make them last longer.
