Wife answers phone....so just happened to be by her when call came in...

As soon as they asked what about putting the floor finish back on....radar ears catch up....

Taking the call, Suspicions are rising about the type of floor...

Asked to send us pics via phone....

So, looking at the pics...I am thinking no way! And no way they want to spend crazy money for full strip....and I am not the guy for this either...

Sent pics to @Mikey just to confirm...I don't not have this patience....or skills for this job.

So discussed the plan with clients and put the ball back in their court...but pretty much told them what we could do to prep the floors if they wanted to recoat.....and it would not be perfect...

So...What would YOU Do?

And in pics...some new floor was put in...so dull in those areas, in some areas, you can see the shiny finish...and missing and worn finish....

carefully colorseal?

They want the shiny finish back on.....

Finish in front of door in front of dog and door is turning white in color...wearing off...

And second pic in, upper left you can see some shiny bricks...they only sent pics really of the newer installed tile with no finish....so hard to tell in the pics....

And I didn't explain that they wanted shiny finish again...my bad.....

But they are also concerned about discolored grout lines so.....color seal.....maybe if stripped all down the shiny floor

I did one like that a few years ago. It came out good. I still do it at least once a year. I seal the whole floor with Cobbs sealer each time.

Now that I looked at Saiger's pics again, I don't think my job was as bad as the one he is talking about. The finish on this one came off real easy.
