Red fibers in rug?

Are the red fibers in this rug similar to the line that some carpeting has to let the installer the minimum that can be trimmed? I haven't seen this on a rug before?

Just pull it out if the customer doesn't like it.. It's probably just a manufacturing glitch... As long as it doesn't have the stenciling lines like on hook rugs and needle points, you should be fine..

I told them it could be pulled out. I offered to pull them, she told me to leave them because the sectional covers them.
