Psalm 83.

Wait for it.

It already happened--- when the northern tribes were conquered by the Persians and the temple destroyed and the Ark of the Covenant taken away from the Jews..
Some say as punishment for the Jew's hubris.

Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 prophesy a time went Israel totally destroys their neighbors and retakes the land from eastern Egypt to the Euphrates river. That land given to Abraham. That hasn't happened yet.

I still like my Black & Decker steamer.

It gets even hotter under the collar than some of the Israelite's that have subverted the course of this post. :arrrr: :stir:

Whilst they put the weights on others, I complain about the weight of the transformer needed to convert the electricity from 110 to 240 volt.

Here's some old red cordial stains on a wool carpet after several Church functions, removed with the B & D Steamer.

Most the time if your removing dyes it is because the tenant already tried to use something and there is a residue. Ive been buying these on ebay for years. Everytime one comes up cheap I buy it. Not to make anyone jealous, but I have 13 of them bought for $30 or less off ebay through the years. Sorry, none for sale, there will be a day when you can't buy the black and decker version anymore

13!!
Are you going to be "The De beers" of BnD steamers? Amazon n ebay all sold out.

I just can't wait to see what's John's next move.

I guess I was wrong in how I interrupted Psalm 83-- the downfall of Speed reading and ADHD..:dejection:

The WIN goes to Marty--- Fatality to Papa John-- haha :very_drunk:

I am a work in progress and I Appreciate the banter as I develop my understanding--- I will not always be right and I don't know everything..;)

Psalm 83.

Wait for it.

I decided to read Psalm 83 again to see where I went wrong. Psalm seems more like a prayer asking for God's help rather then a Prophesy of Israel's victory and the 2nd coming.
I mistakenly thought Psalm 83 was about the defeat of the Israelites and mixed up with 2 Kings 17:7 when God punished the Israelites for their sins by allowing The Assyrian Empire to defeat the Northern tribes of Israel.

Ezekiel 38 seems to tell of a Israeli victory-- didn't that happen- minus the 2nd coming of Christ- during: the war of 1948-49, The 1956 Suez canal crises war, The 1967 six day war, The 1973-74 Yom Kippur war
or the 1982 war? The 1967 and 1973 wars seem to be the most amazing-- against all odds victory for the Israelis!-- Maybe "Christ" came in the form of Jimmy Carter?-- I'd hate to give the credit to Kissinger. Or maybe it was one of the Israeli generals?

Or maybe Joseph, son of Israel (Jacob), was the 1st savoir and Moses the 2nd?? Joseph saved the Israelites from starvation when he protected them in Egypt--- Moses when he rescued them from Egypt.
but all that happened before Psalms and Ezekiel were written..

I want to clarify that I'm a man who wants Peace-- but when I see what a cluster fook the middle east has become--ie. ISIS and Muslims against Muslims-- it sure seems like there's gonna be a lot more ass kicking before there can be Peace-- just like the Book says.

You take things a little too literally, John. Nothing wrong with admitting a mistake and I love maturity as much as the immature guy next door.

That was just a jab from somebody who does not hold that specific book in as high a regard as you and Marty do. Therefore, the joke is that your second mistake is looking for answers from that book in the first place.

Longish explanation to an unsuccessful "joke". Ignore.

Personally I find the I Ching to be every bit as good, accurate and a whole lot less bloody:

The I Ching uses a type of divination called cleromancy, which produces apparently random numbers. Four numbers between 6 and 9 are turned into a hexagram, which can then be looked up in the I Ching book, arranged in an order known as the King Wen sequence. The interpretation of the readings found in the I Ching is a matter of centuries of debate, and many commentators have used the book symbolically, often to provide guidance for moral decision making as informed by Taoism and Confucianism.
