I have tested many, many brands of Red Stain Removers.
I have heard lots of discussion on results WITH & WITHOUT steam.
What I have observed:
IF the carpet has a quality stain-resist coating intact,
the stain can be removed without heat transfer.
IF it is apartment-grade carpet or does not have an effective stain-resist coating,
it will require "steam" to take out the stain.
Our one-part Dynachem Dye Stain Remover works in the same manner:

I thought they were essentially the same??
( minus some engine additives and road tax on diesel fuel at the pump)
and burn K-1 kero anyway.
Much cleaner and no diesel stink
