replaced my inline filter with custom intank filter

local gov't requires us to filter through 60mesh before we can dump in sewer system.
I had a prefilter which I've posted pics of before.
Did some work for a welder and thought its time to change my intank filter since it was such a PITA to clean.

I made the main filter out of the 60 mesh but maximized the surface area.
Then I put a prefilter on top, just a flat piece of 40mesh, took 1/2" heater hose and wrapped the outer edge to keep from cutting myself. A simple plastic handle and I was all set.

Both meshes clean really easy with a brush, and every now and then I'll pull it and pressure wash it.
Works as good as I hoped it would. I can clean all day with this.

Nice filter Ron. Since you pre vac, I don't see you having a problem with it plugging with crap. If you didn't pre vac, I'd see a big problem.

even if I didn't, I'd still get through a job before needing to clean it.
Cleaned a condo building , halls and stairs, no prevac, it gets the price too high for them, and no issues.
