Left a couple Airpaths running overnight in a beach rental. When I returned to retrieve them, one wasn't running and its switch box was hot. The blade will now turn, but slowly. Anybody know a source for a replacement motor? Much obliged.

Was hoping to find a non-proprietary motor. Will contact Legends. Has anybody else had to replace a motor?

Surprised they're discontinued. What have they been replaced with?

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies. Not sure I want to invest a lot of $ in obsolete equipment with sketchy replacement parts availability.

Wonder why they were discontinued.

What air movers are y'all using? I have a few Dri-Pods, but they're fragile. I've broken three of them. But my mother always said I was a very destructive child.

Tore down the bad Airpath. Found a long ribbon, possibly from a helium party balloon, wrapped around the motor shaft and wedged between the fan blade and motor housing. Likely cause of the motor failure.

If its got a brushless motor you might get lucky and if you remove the ribbon and it turns free it may just work fine again

Removed the ribbon and fired it up. Running slow with grinding sound.

I bet mine hasn't got 50 hours on it. I might consider selling it.
