Restaurant carpet

I have to clean one of my regulars and it’s a Mexican restaurant with tons of oil build up every time. I usually use Flex w/Citrus solve and my rotary 360, but the rotovac 360 is down so my question is…1- can I use my slow speed buffer on it? 2-if so what pad color do I use?…thanks for the feed back!

Green if you break it in on concrete first.
Here’s how:
Spray the concrete liberally with prespray
Run the green pad under your rotary on it for a minute

Now your green pad will work
If you didn’t break it in first, the pad would grip the carpet so hard your buffer would spin you through a wall

The 175 works fantastic on greasy commercial glue down, HOWEVER, get rid of the Flex. It’s crap!
Use Prochem Ultra PAC Extreme. Mix on the heavier side, let dwell for 10 minutes, hit with the 175, extract HOT.

I've tested a lot of different presprays side by side on greasy carpet and nothing out performes Ultra Pac Extreme.

I’ve found that soy solvents work well with it.
D-limonine is hard o rinse in higher concentrations. That’s why after trial and error, I much prefer soy based solvent boosters.

I'm VLM now but for the first 25 years I was HWE. I cleaned a lot of Diners and Chinese Restaurants. I used a 175 with a stiff brush every time. I had a Rotovac and T rex Jr but preferred the 175 and brush on Diners and Restaurants. The weight of a 175 on top of a stiff brush did a better job losing grease for wand extraction than just a rotary extractor.

Now that I'm VLM I don't do Restaurants or Diners

Saiger red and the G Force Booster with a grey pad from Excellent supply under a 175.

Code red is a great product. I carry it on the truck daily, I use it daily. BUT, for this particular application, hands down, UPE, boosted if a guy feels like he needs the extra ‘oomf’.
I’m my experience, not necessary.

But hey, whatever blows your hair back…

Again, spray with a heavier concentrated UPE, dwell, scrub W/ 175, pad or brush, edge with an edging tool, extract with a good wand, and make sure the TM is set to HOT…

There isn’t much this combo won’t take care of….

I was having a whiskey with my neighbour a few weeks ago. He told me that a couple years ago, he had a bobcat tag, shot one, and he skinned and cut up for meat. His words ‘it’s one of the best meals in recent memory’.

No thanks, I’m not interested in eating Garfield….

Kitty steaks, roast, or burgers are not on my list of things to try…

I recently tried Harvard's Dis Zov All powdered product. Most powerful product I have ever used. Great grease cutting ability. 12-13 pH with both solvents and oxy. Out cleans the Flex easily.

When I was giving the estimate, I was sticking to the carpet. I was considering using Saiger's Code Red boosted with G-Force but stopped by Sam's first and he talked me into the Citra-zov powder. Was absolutely blown away at how well it worked. 5 Chinese ladies watching me cleaning, oohing and aahing over how well it came out.

Citra-zov not Dis Zov All. That's a liquid citrus spotter.

How long did it take to clean that with pads and how many pads did you use?

I haven't padded since I bought my white magic. The Butler is even better.
