Some time ago, I bought an old, very used Nilfisk Aqua-Clean. It is a pull-back carpet scrubber. Don't do it. I've managed to rehab it into useability and Friday, tried it out on a crappy foreclosure carpet.

Sonuvvagun, it really did a good job! Only had cold water, so I boiled a bucketful and used Flex as prespray. Result? A dog-stinky smoker's carpet, restored to bright and clean down to the bottom of the yarns.

Then today I discovered the cat sized wads of hair it scrubbed up and still had in the brush housing, so that explains the dog smell.

Point is, outdated and worn, it still works, is economical to operate and with a mod or two, will be on the van from now on.

There ya go Marty, the first DAT of the week.
