never done this style of carpet with the row pattern. kinda like farmers planing rows. will I have any problems with extracting and suction? and will encap work just as well with this?

This is a case where 2 1/2" hose has a clear advantage.

what type of encap though I would try the snake oil

This is where brush encap may be better than pads. its hard to say with out seeing the carpet.
