Ripples in carpet

That much glycol would take weeks to dry on its own, you have to get most of it out first, and prepare them for multiple visits.

Well I went back 5 days ago. The ripples had reduced a lot, but were not totally gone. I re-stretched the carpet, no obvious pattern distortion. I didn't have to take that much slack out, so even if the carpet does pull together a bit more, it shouldn't be an issue. The customer was happy with the result and I haven't heard from them since.

In future when I come across these type of spills, I will be getting a signature from the customer waiving responsibility on my part for any further damage or else I won't be doing the job
