I've not given up on taking the name Platinum with me.

Already a howdy doody in the area, who would have thunk it.

That is tough, the only reason I have my name is because I had a name that was close to another in the area thought if was going to do wonders to start out. After I made my name "legal" I thought I don't want any confusion because I think I will bring better service to the custy.

The company that my name was close to said that they would sue me for all I have and this and that... so I told them they could buy the name they did and here is where I am.

Not thrilled with the name but whatever!

All junk ideas or taken ideas, the point of my brainstorming is to get you thinking differently so you can create your name.

I was talking with another cleaner... He owns "Soapy Suds" Carpet Cleaning in Bozeman. When I first saw the truck, I thought it was a terrible idea. Then I talked to him about it. I told him I thought it was a terrible idea at first, and then I remembered that's because I'm a carpet cleaner and I know soap and suds are a bad idea. Customers don't know that. He is a good cleaner and he educates his clients on proper care and maintence. His truck is lettered with a rubber ducky logo and soap bubble bullet points. The ladies love it. It looks professional. And... it's different than anything a carpet cleaner would come up with so he stands out. Think outside the carpet cleaner box and come up with an idea a carpet cleaner couldn't. Make a post in another chat room that doesn't have anything to do with carpet cleaning and ask those people for ideas, or just ask them what they think of when somebody says carpet cleaning.
