Roots Blowers

Roots suggests not to run there blowers above 3600rpm.
I hear many people running as high as 5200rpm.
My question is what is the max rpm that a roots blower can run
at without hurting the lifespan?

Each blower has different limits, as per manufacturer's printed info. Usually smaller units can be run higher rpm than larger ones.
