Rotating Brush Wands

Carpet cleaning wands with a built in rotating brush, do they work? Are they a PITA? Can you stick a glide on one do ya think? Would one be worth having or would a drimaster or Rx360 be better?

I think it was magic wand selling them years ago, then Bam! No more ads for it. I thought it was cheesy looking myself with the power cord on a wand with a brush on the back of it. If it's not the one I'm thinking of, disregard my post.
