Be at least $500 to do an emergency clean up like that. I had a customer call me because a duck walked in through her patio doors and crapped on her $79,000 viscose rug.Got a call to immediatly clean up Goose crap that got tracked into a house on a Sunday. A self claimed very important person demanded I get there or he will call someone else. He told me it is an "easy" job, and "not that bad". So I jumped on it.

We send our dog after them when they try to walk on our beach!! They are MESSY!!!
One of my favorite lines is using a self important people's line back against them. "You're a (insert whatever they claim to be that makes them so special) so I am sure you understand....Dr., lawyers, clergy, realtors are predominately the people who you'll have problems with.. 38 going on 39years in business..
@Trip Moses I edited the image. You guys shouldn't put customer info here not only for their "privacy" but you never know which idiot here that didn't like a post you made 6 years ago is going to contact them and cause problems.
Also, google indexes the clean room and reads texts in images so if they search themselves, as people often do, there is a chance they find the thread.
An example of this is a search for part#....the first image is a photo Matt posted (he didn't type the number)

20 ft by 24. They have 2 of them. Designed by a world famous designer apparently. I use the truck mount at about 200 psi, a 2 inch wand with a hybrid glide. Prespray with Chemax rayon rug shampoo, rinse with neutral cleaner. Clean in the direction of the nap only and groom the same way. Low heat. They keep the patio doors closed now, especially after they also had a crow fly in and crap on their white linen sofa.lol
How did you clean the viscose rug? I run from them. I was actually joking about the goose. I had a scheduled job and the geese started my morning off.
79K viscose rug, I didnt know they get up there in price like that.
LMAO...... And thank you. That is amazing info. Im on it.20 ft by 24. They have 2 of them. Designed by a world famous designer apparently. Viscose is always a little tricky. How well it cleans depends on the quality of the fibre and how well the rug is made. I highly recommend Chemax Rayon Rug shampoo. I use it mainly in the shop but it can be a lifesaver if you run into viscose that has to be done on site. Some viscose, no matter what you do will end up with textural damage. Brightly colored rugs can suffer dye bleed and they can buckle and shrink. Even though I have cleaned many viscose rugs successfully, I still only do them at the customers risk. I explain the potential hazards and let them know that even if the rug is ruined, they still have to pay me. Weeds out the cheapos and those who might want to sue me. Viscose also likes a little alkalinity so your rinse can be neutral to maybe 8.5 ph. Quick drying is key. Dry strokes and fans.LMAO...... And thank you. That is amazing info. Im on it.
Not to beat a dead horse here. Today I was cleaning and I missed a call from the guy who got someone else this past Saturday. He was wondering where I was. When I reminded him he got someone else he got a little confused and realized he called the "wrong" guy. So the other guy didnt show yet, 1 1/2hr late and no call.
Now heres the kicker. Today at a job for a customer of 15 years at least. Awesome customer. Last busy season I was booked pretty far out and just couldnt fit anyone in. This year, i got the call, and she had a welcome mat that was upsold by a franchise. There was a issue with her sick dog that put the rush on, and I couldnt fill the order. So thankfully I didnt lose her. I gave her some $ back because it was too much of a tip. She works, single mom, 3 kids in college, tough funny lady. This is just confirming not to just say "sorry, cant get there for 2 months" Which is what I have said, not quoting anyone here or implying that. Im just sharing events here. I never paid attention to business trends, but thankfully some people have and shared it with me. Im trying to figure this out.
Gotta get me some Viscose Chems. Thanks again Ron!

People that pay that much for a rayon rug think they bought silk.79K viscose rug, I didnt know they get up there in price like that.
Exactly right. They thought they bought silk. The burn test doesn't like.People that pay that much for a rayon rug think they bought silk.
Ron's got the right message if you decide to clean rayon, although I've found asking to be paid in advance is the only thing that really gets the message across.
PS: "Viscose" is just rayon modified for absorbancy. The term viscose has become interchangeable, but soon bamboo will be as well if we allow it. Rayon is just rayon.
Especially when the tag has in fancy letters Art Silk. they tricky.Exactly right. They thought they bought silk. The burn test doesn't like.
