Searched the archives, but didn't find the answer:

How do yall remove a rust stain from a granite countertop? Can't use rust remover cuz it's acid (any I'm aware of).

While I'm at it, what do yall use to clean mineral deposits and soap scum from marble shower enclosures? (Again, no acid.)

Much obliged.

Bridgepoint's T-Rust will remove rust on granite. It is a mild acid. Acid does not harm granite.

For the marble shower, surface cleaning with a neutral surfactamt can help with some slight stains. Beyond that you may need to use resin bonded diamond disk to polish away some marble and then return to the original finish. If the rust does not go too deep, you can also use an acid remover and then follow by polishing the area with Spinergy stone polishing pads.
