I cured the drippy jets by installing Green stubby CV's and re-designing the jet assembly in order for them to fit. I ended up with much better jet positioning causing no over-spray. I ended up notching out the end of the glides for more airflow and less Kunkle cycling, but it's hard to see

I added a short section of vac hose for much easier hooking/un-hooking vac. Also cut the power cord. I plan on getting a 2" vac manifold made soon. Also, leaving the 360 handle in the desired fixed position makes hassle-free.

Here is my inline permanent mounted temp gauge lets me know temps ATW so I can monitor my LP tank. 254.5F is my max temp I reached ATW.

My tricked out 360 is a beast. Can't wait for some glides.

Eddie the 360 has caught my attention but my reluctance lies in the company improving its product. My case in point is the horrible rotovac and its middle wheel design.Must have been some stupid engineer who designed that.I'm waiting on improvements if any they make to the 360.
But I like your ideas!

But you are STILL the only one I know who owns one of them!

Jimmy, RV has made many improvements to the 360 since it came out. I pointed out quite a few bugs to them and they responded very fast with the fix and shipped me the upgrades no charge. Great customer service, high five to Cliff and the gang!

Jimmy, Good carpet cleaners overlap each stroke anyway. By overlapping the wheel slot becomes a non factor.

If you ever get down to Georgia I will show you how to get a carpet really clean!!

Yeah but that over-lapping eats up the clock and makes you work more. The 360 floats, and you don't even break a sweat.

Eddie, how big is the motor compared to the RV's motors?

I know it is a lot smaller then the RX motor.

It's taller and much quieter, a work-horse. I have not come across any performance issues with it.

yeah that rotovac is a time waster.
Eddie let me know when they have ALL of the bugs figured out.

How do you address the swirl marks left in the carpet?
Do you TRY and rake them all out or what?
Or do you just leave them in?

Jimmy, I use such a precise stroke that the swirls actually looks great. I've had no complaints so far about swirls.

12 inches around is a large surface on a unlevel floor. Its not like a 12 inch wand or even a RX with its individual heads riding the floor.

I am amazed at how hilly some of these floors are here in the deep south.

I can see your point if the carpet is on a concrete floor but over plywood you wouldn't have any dips and valleys.

Eddie could you post some pictures of your 360 swirl marks in carpet?
I can understand wand marks looking pretty but I would like to see your artwork using the 360.

LOL, boy you really need to come to Georgia for a day or 2. It would amazed you what can happen to a house after a few years of neglect and our wonderful Clay soil expansion and contraction.

I did a house today that had a 18" drop in the floor. And it isn't the worst one I have done. Heck I have cleaned rentals that had no wood under the carpet . (got to love termites)

No, I dont see a 360 in my future. Unless I find one for around 700.00 LOL good deals seem to find me.

I lived in South Carolina way back and I know about that red clay!

What kind of products do you use to address the clay?

Never had a problem with it. Every pre-spray and every emulsifier I have used take it right out.

have you ever damaged olefin carpet with temperatures that high ATW

I was told of a cleaner here in Portland that damaged olefin carpet with a RDM with temperatures that high, I wondered if it was true or not

Scott my perception as is the rest of the country is that homes in Georgia are typically mobile homes. So I can understand the unlevel floors you see.

I'll take pics of the old rotovacs swirl marks on jobs friday and post them. I think they look great

I thought he was talking about the middle wheel

Surprisingly, some of the unlevel homes are pretty nice and if they were maintained would be awesome.

People here would rather spend money on a car they dont need (escalade) and clothes that cost way to much then keep there homes up.

The worst (dirtiest) jobs I do are in the country club here.

Steve, no I don't clean at those temps, it was just a test to see how hot I can get if needed, I was to nervous to go any higher. I usually like to clean around 215-230 ATW

Jimmy, yeah I'll try to post the swirls.

I love mine,,,

Hey Eddie, I too use a r/v 360 and agree with one point you made. It really takes a lot of the work out of the really dirty ones.
I am 52 years young and appreciate anything that helps me. I am not having a real problem with drippy jets but like the mods you made to yours.
Has r/v or sent you the stainless steel covered shoes yet? I did not see them in your pics and I think they helped mine work a bit smoother if that is possible.
Also, when you take the cover off the carpet head to expose the screws that hold the vac heads on did you notice the foam becoming distorted from the vacuum? I sealed the seam between the metal and vinyl rim and got a bit better vac from it.
P.s. Whats with the picks in your profile? I am an old blues guy from way back.
