I took a class from Steve Andrews last year, wasn't carpet repair, anyway, he said at the time he was putting together a dvd on carpet repair. I forgot all about it until this room started, so I contacted him about it and sure enough he did. So, I bought it (very reasonable and well worth the price) and have watched it 3 times already, each time I picked up something that I missed previously. Not having any kind of repair experience, I was a little wary of starting now. But I have practiced with scraps at home with my new koolglide, ministretcher, etc. I let my wife look at the carpet repairs and she couldn't tell where I had worked. So, my confidence level is up and I can't wait to try some real repairs. Thanks to everyone here for their knowledge and their willingness to share!
