Sacrificial Anodes

How often or when do you replace them? I added some magnesium plates to the Steamway last year and they seem to have stopped the corrosion. The Plates are pretty well pitted up but there is still plenty of magnesium left. I don’t know why aluminum tanks don’t come with anodes.

Usually when it's a little under 50% left unless you are cheap.

If I was not cheap, I would buy a new waste tank, or better yet a new truckmount.
