I think about $68,000 for the TM and new Extended van, wrap about $3500, but new branding designing about another $1800, then you have a new wand, a new Zipper, new hoses and cuffs, new wheels and tires....a new Kenwood GPS satellite stereo system, trailer hitch, Viper remote start programed to run and hour, mud flaps....

My rigs come with the nice insulation panels on walls, ceilings, floors, live reels for everything, 210 waste tank, 110 fresh tank, all the maxed out shelving, big blower, high heat, rear waste clean out, if there was basically an option to be had....I just about got them all :)

Well, yeah....I spent some kaching!

But, you don't need to have all the items I have.....

but when you spend most of your day in the rigs like I do....I am spending some money for some creature comforts :)

I love my Butlers and the units have treated me great for along time....and made me a lot of money! :)

Not saying he had to pay out of pocket for all of it, and I hope he didn't, but I promise you Mark's new rig is pushing a $ amount that would make your head spin.

I spend as little as possible to have the best. Buy quality and it will outlast and make your job easier in many cases. I wouldn't spend a penny extra for some fancy rims or tires but that's just me. I could care less about a radio. Give me a nice billboard, great tools and a strong machine. I'm set.

I fell the same way as Mark in regards to " if I'm going to be in a truck all day I want it comfy" and have a great machine etc. I really wanted to pull the trigger on a pro1200 se ...(yes i know me another sapphire )or butler . So with the sprinter being sick I went a got a 5 year old cds to get a fell for a direct drive . ( thanks Joe Appleby) . So in the 2 months iv had the CDS . And comparing the chevy to a promaster or sprinter. There's no way I could go back to a small van. The comfort and mpg of the new vans far out weighs getting a new chevy van .i wouldn't get another sprinter but would get the promaster or transit. So ill have to wait for the dd world to catch up. And stay with my Judson's . Mark does have a sweet van .just put it all in a euro van for me

Hey Mark what are your rates for service and how do you charge? Per SQFT or area? What is average ticket price and what is your client list look like? (home owners vs renters vs commercial) What is the maximum amount of jobs you will do in a day and why?

Hopefully these questions are not to intrusive and if so feel free to send me a PM.

Yep it will . In your new world you maybe better gettin the 4x4 when it comes . If its not already out. Outside the states the transit has always been one of the best selling vans world wide. . But if you like your pick up. The promaster uses the same engine. Just different gearing in the transmission .

We are .38 Cents per sq foot for us, Average ticket prices currently this year is looking around $450 average for all the jobs we have done this year (taking our income in mind and dividing by the number of jobs done) but realistically at a home it feels more like $250-$375 we see a lot of ticket averages during a day...and there are some minimum fee jobs (we have a minimum adjustable which is between $90-150 depending on location and type and amount of work being done. We shoot to bring in $1000 per van, per day....sometimes we are a bit under and fortunately, a lot of days we are over....

Maximum amount of jobs in a day varies because of size of job and location....we also run 2 vans on a lot of jobs especially the large ones, but can say, we had 2 days this week that each van was on our own during the day.

There are some crazy days with the schedule but you are looking at 6-10 (sometimes more) jobs per day....some of those jobs are done alone (one van) and some of those jobs you will find both of us on the job, even both vans running.

I'm going to send you a link to a "RAW" version of a PowerPoint I have that has a bunch of info that might be helpful to you. Also, send me your email address in a PM and I will send you our phone script (nothing fancy by the way) that might also give you some more of that info you are looking for.

5.7 hemi....no ..on a standard pick up . It's the same standard v6 . I took out a 159" wheelbase hi roof ,the cab was comfy , leg room was fine. Drove nice . My only irks where the hand break , no tilt on steering wheel and the fact that the new face lift is already out in Europe . But no word on the face life here .

Is there any PTO systems being installed in any of the Euro style vans yet?

The first company that will do it will have a serious advantage. Moving away from the dinosaurs of the American vans WILL be their future... So they should just start working on it asap.

Butler has all ready got a mock for the nissan van, about a year ago. I think the ford is done all ready also. Both companies won't let there vans be warrantied as a stationary power source.

Those Nissan are seriously ugly. A Butter in the transit would be great. I wonder if they would be forced to ditch the popular 210 waste tank?

The Mercedes is coming out with a van you could probably do a pto, but would be super spendy rig and not many carpet cleaners probably want to spend that kind of money.

My understanding with the current Dodge sprinter the front of the crankshafts are too light weight and not as durable. Would kind of make since as they are light weight to spin the horsepower.

The Nissan didn't come out with a system for throttle control that has been acceptable and considered safe...

That's some of the rumors I have heard from different sources

Wow....

I didn't really get any deals Dave....not sure what would have made the price more. You even made me go back an look at my invoice!

With some other extras I ordered such as a prochem Titanium wand, and few extra things, I was around $69,235 but that did not include delivery....

I don't spend much time in my van, luckily drives are short. I rarely even turn on the radio.

With the foreign vans, are you guys finding parts are expensive or problems with availability?

The few imports that I have owned there were always issues...and they were just a Toyota and Nissan.

I never had issues with foreign car parts...

Fact: the Toyota Camry is now the MOST american car in america.

So it would be hard to imagine that companies like Toyota would have a problem supplying parts.
