Found a good deal on a TMT 3G which looks to be a relabeled SS2500. Any input from someone who's actually used one? This would be used for residential and light commercial only. Thanks for the input all!

From the little information I've been able to find it definitely appears geared more towards tile. 35hp Kohler
Dealtimeman has/had one setup in a trailer. He loves/loved it.
He is at MF spending big bucks. He's a high roller...He so told me himself. :winky:

It is a good unit with a badass heat exchanger rated to 2500 psi.

If you get the Briggs motor you need to have the heads/Valves adjusted every 100 hours or so.

If you have the Kohler than you don’t have to adjust the heads.

Good heat, good suck, more psi than anyone is going to ever need.

A work horse that will run hours and hours if you take care of it.

What else do you need to know?

Make sure the unit hasn’t been sitting in water and the frame is rusted.

What kind of idiot would build a machine with an engine you have to adjust every 100 hrs. It’s no wonder I haven’t owned a slide in for 40years.

I know a few guys with thousands of hours on these units without issues but they adjust the valves.

Most lawn car company have their mowers valves adjusted once or twice a year and those are Kawasaki’s, Briggs and adjustable Kohlers.

In fact the truckmount that helped us out today when another one broke down was that Briggs engine and he had 975 or so troublefree hours.

Maintenance is key.

They must be horrible if Pemberton won’t comment.

Dealtime Man said it best already, nothing to add. Our customers who have them are happy with them.

forgive a dumb question...'cause I only know and have done enough T&G to be dangerous.....

so where is that high of PSI best utilized?
Gun 'n run on Micky Dee's and Taco Bells at 3 am?

seems excessive in Mrs Phiff's kitchen, bath and foyer :headscratch:

I just sold one last week with 2000 hrs. Oil changed every 100 and valves adjusted every couple hundred. Still had to replace heads at 1360 hrs. New loaded butler is SWEET tho
