Got this one back in late October..

If you've ever had a Kleenrite tool you are already familiar with this sight. Has to be cleaned from time to time. Hacksaw blade is handy as an in between shortcut.

It helps if you don't use it as a stair tool.

Mike could you tell it was restricted? I used one of ours on a spot on a Oriental rug and it seemed fine.

Since there is nothing in the top half . . .

that is probably where the hi airflow is.

The open area was still sufficient, but 3-month cleaning is required maintenance.

It looks like it could use some "porting" where the blue hose goes between the screw bosses.

Have you noticed any changes in the structure from the heat ?

I agree it is the best I've ever used also. In the 80's & 90's it was the Kleenrite tool, then 90's -2000 the Prochem, 2000- Drimaster, 2010-Sapphire Upholstery tool.

If you're not using one not only are you behind the times, but you're borderline "malpractice " when you're cleaning with anything else!

The tool is worth it.

Tell you what you buy it and your guys don't like it, I'll buy it from you..........................for half of what you paid.

Except with the Hydrokinetic tool, no worries about heat.

While I've never used that tool, I can see where it would work very similar. Probably a pretty good tool!

depends on why it needs maintenance. Bought it Sept 07. I tightened an allan screw in my uph tool once( it holds the valve) , changed the jet (switched the 03 to an 04 last week), put on a new hose system in Oct 10 (the original was an awkward 5ft-put on 20ft), not really much to maintain.

I remember the Kleenrite needed cleaned to be occasionally, you would hear something caught in there restricting the vacuum.

I need to open ours up and see what we have if anything. Mike do your guys prevacuum with a crevice tool?

Just ordered one from Joe Bristor! Still have my Prochem tool had it for over 10 years did a sofa and chair and automan, and 2 sectional's today damn that prochem tool is heavy! Works good though I figured it was time to get something new!

Jim Pemberton's endorsement sealed the deal was thinking about the hydrokinetic also, I think I'll be happy. as long as I dont suck up to many rats! shiteatinggrin
