It's not rocket science.
The poison they spray needs to be cleaned from the carpets too.
All of our complexes always exterminate before any cleaning gets done. Any cleaning.

Would you really rather someone move in after treatment or after cleaning?.
The exterminator kills the fleas and treats eggs and larvae so they don't reproduce.
We clean a week later after place has sat empty. Occasionally we get idiot managers who either don't tell us it's infested or have us in to soon after treatment.
Not sure why you would clean then treat tbh.

Then they’re screwing the incoming tenants.
Because eggs hatch.
That’s what they are designed to do.
So you think you can kill all the eggs before treatment?
Then you can kill them after treatment right?
What am I missing?
Other than you are cross contaminating your next job.

I never once said they could be killed before treatment.
If you could follow along and focus you’d already understand that killing them after treatment is the reason to leave the fiber unwashed and coated with a residual.
You’re missing logic and reason.
Cross contamination? If you’re unable to comprehend how unlikely that is, and how easy it is to address, then this topic is way too complicated for you.

I am referring to move outs BTW. I've never been asked to clean a residential home before flea treatment that I remember.

As I said they close the places up for a week or whatever the required time is.
This is done for roaches and bed bugs too.

True. I'm not an exterminator.

Oh man how did I miss this one?!

I’d decline. Exotic pets being dropped off is on the rise. But, do as you wish.

Reminds me, several years ago I cleaned for a motel owner. Mr Patel was always very nice to me. We became friends til this day. Anyway he called me up one time to clean a room he had vacant. Got there, he opened the door for me. I walk around to inspect. As I’m walking around I see him in the bathroom wiping the toilet, the seat both sides then hangs the wash cloth back on the rack.

From that day forward if I ever need to stay at a motel hotel, first I call the front desk when making reservations and ask ‘who owns the joint and how do you spell their name? If I cant spell or pronounce it, I hang up. Fact jack! I bring my own towels, sheets and sometimes pillow when traveling. Oh and if I forget my slippers, I find Wally World nearby.

On another travel adventure on my way to be edumacated at a cleaning class, I made reservations a week earlier at a hotel. Front desk takes me up to inspect. Fresh cigarette smell all over the room. I noticed this dark blue couch with some white jelly like stuff on the one side. She assured me room was clean. I looked at her and thanked her. I forgot to ask the name of the owner when made the reservations. I asked her on my way out….sure enough. Bolted out of there.

It’s tough out here let me tell you. Tough.
