I just got an email claiming to be from Square. The email was designed to look like a notification from Square and a customer.
This "customer" claimed they were NOT happy with my service. This email wanted me to click on it to respond to the customer. It wanted my Square login info. The address line in the email poorly attempted to mimic that of Square's.
Never click on links in an email unless you know it is legit.
I went directly to my Square account and there was no such notification.
