Ron if I could change one thing about the SAD it would be to make it easier to come and go through out the job. One handed and quicker placement of the rod..

Not sure how that would be accomplished but just a thought..
Hey Mike....thank you for your thought. You have the "Combo"....it takes about 25-30 lbs. of pull pressure to compress; the "Standard" only takes about 10-15 lbs. of pressure, and is thus much easier to manipulate for entering/exiting. The sacrifice is "versatility" and wind resistance.

We will sometimes take a different door in and out too....

But, after using it for a couple of years now....we have become really quite skilled and getting in and out one handed as needed sometimes too....

I think Ron's statement about the door being left open is something that people enjoy NOT seeing...and for us in the North....

It has made a big statement, not just in the winter...but all the time.

The companies not using it, make those of us that are using it look pretty good.

It can definitely be a good conversation piece with the homeowner or even the neighbors....
