Re: Service mOnster demo/webinar in the Greenroom.

Still lovin it.
Nothing I can say that I haven't said already I guess.

I doubled my sales this March from last March. Not that Service Monster made that happen but it helped me keep track of where the jobs were coming from and will help me keep in touch with the jobs we have done.

Also, 64% Of the jobs in March were new customers and of course 36% were repeat. That tells me that my old customers haven't even come out of the woodwork yet. May was my biggest month last year so I am hoping that I see all those again this year.

From my QuickBook import I have all my info and now it's all in graphs and mainly on the front page of Service Monster.

I have recieved some of my thank you and reminder cards back because of no forwarding address (not that many) so I know they are getting sent and they are of the highest quality.

I can go on and on.

Brian, that's remarkable. Most guys would pull this out of their you know what... "99% of my customers are repeat or referral". Tracking is the only way of knowing. Good for you!

One truck if you ask me.

I've been using Camelot for 7 years and am real tired of it. It's basically falling apart.

I had a good talk with Joe the owner of SM tonight. Cool guy and very hip.
(I need to clue him in that name dropping the Hanks brothers around here wont do him any favors )

No other business software for our industry offers to export all my current client data on Camelot to their program.

That right there is the deal maker for me.

The auto send out cards for thank yous, birthdays and sales is huge as well.

The price is way more affordable than Camelot too.

I cant wait to get started.

I can finally get rid of my 9 year old computer now. :D :D :D

If Brevik bought a banner ad. Would you say his POS Electro Mount is actually a good deal?

I offered Terri a free banner here.

He turned it down.

Too cheap to buy the $40 software to make a banner with.

If he could figure out how to make one from a old floppy disk and a Motorola Teletak then he would go for it.

I have been running service monster for 5 years now and its
the best thing I have ever done to my business. I too
converted from Camelot. Very smooth transition, all data converted
to the appropriate field.

Re: Service mOnster demo/webinar in the Greenroom.

On my Quick Books it went back 5 years.

The one thing that I didn't get was my job source history.
But I still have that info on QB so I just add it as I go.

You know, I'm sorry some of the job history did not transfer correctly, all of the customer
info transferred from Camelot perfect. I transferred about 10,000 records from 1998 on. I kept
Camelot and I still have it in the event I need to look back at an old record. Its nice to have old
square footage and such so you don't have to measure again. The longer I use Servicemonster
the less I have to go back and look at Camelot, If at all after 5 years. You will still love the way you
can set up "Fields" with your old data and do mailings and marketing. Its been so long since I converted I
forgot. I also used Pacific turnkey systems "Profitmaster" before Camelot and think I had incomplete data
going from Profitmaster to Camelot, so that didn't help.
