Ugg. We had to roll back the update. The preformance was TERRIBLE! One of our servers started having issues as we made our post. We have been up and down for a few hours.

Sorry for the delay.

You guys don't have your calendars backed up else where?

May I suggest Google calendar, synced with your smart phone then you always have your schedule with you, even if internet is down.

As far as I'm concerned that's the only thing I really wish service monster had is the ability to sync to Google calendar but its not too difficult to enter it manually.

Until this new upgrade there was no way to back up the calendar. We will be able to after they get it rolling again and I think Google calendar was one of the sync choices

I still have my paper schedule books back to the 70's. Have had many computers and scheduling schemes over the years, but STILL keep a hard copy schedule book religiously. It's kind of a diary of biz over the years.

We print a job ticket for every job we schedule on our system. When we occasionally go down it is seamless and we just take orders manually for a few minutes, hours etc. Even in a total power outage we can get our generator on line in a few minutes to power our phone system, server and a few pc's so 2-3 enter orders in while everyone else just takes them by hand.

Thanks for the upgrades, hope it is nothing major to get back up and running. Progress takes time.

Back to the old version this evening, as long as a version is available we can't gripe.

Hopefully it'll be straightened out by Monday.
