It is just a protection treatment.

You can get nylon, poly, olefin with the treatment.

Actually one of my rescue friends has it. She dug in and got her receipt and it is Kathy Ireland Clear Tough with R2X. Crappy PET polyester junk. She says it's less than a year old and the traffic lanes are worn and dull.

I told her to start saving now.
