Why would you need to vacuum? Your customers don't own one?

I have a 5-7-5 rule

do 5 jobs or less a day, make $700 a day and
be home by 5 pm

to many jobs and to low of daily total. just my opinion

About what I was thinking.

$140 job average.

With a little more time for each job you could have $230 job average for 3 jobs and be done a few hours earlier each day. Win Win!!

My goal was $1000 per day. Didn't matter if I worked 2 hours or 12 hours.

Of course I would try to be home earlier than 5pm when possible....And I usually was.

I could make $1000 by noon if the job/s were set up right.

I was always big on doing as much as possible at each job. Just doing the carpet and leaving was leaving too much money on the table.

With the Living Socials and Groupons etc it made it easier to get the extras sold while in the home. Those people generally expect to buy a little more. When they find out the quality of service etc..They were happy to do it.

Edit: I remember doing the neighbors house a bunch of times...That's an upsell to me and could easily double the ticket I thought I was going to get.

I scheduled my jobs in windows of 2 hours just for things like that. If I was going to be later than the end of the window, I could usually call ahead way before the cutoff time.

The "on time" guys always made me wonder.
