I have been chipping away at my 'Unca Ernie' project in my spare time during the self isolation period. When I picked up this van from the old fella, he said he drove to Ohio from Ontario to have the Steam Genie pto installed.
I don't think Bawb would approve how they mangled this install. Whoever did it directed the frame to make mounting brackets for the front end.

NOT a fan of only a 1 inch serpentine belt to drive the whole thing

Gator back belts did nothing for me

I haven't any experience with serpentine driven pto''s, my other vans are driven with a double v-belt setup. From what I have picked up here and there, serp driven can be tricky to get aligned perfectly, and the v-belts are more forgiving.

Hydramasters are serpentine belt driven with little or no problems. A 56 blower probably requires a more robust drive.
