Any suggestions? They are desperate to get it better. They've already tried bleach and everything else. Not sure if there's much I can do? I may try hitting it with an acid based product then follow up with alkaline.

make sure it's "real" cementitious grout, not premix or caulk. Its does not breath. inside out stain

If c- grout- 6% SH with a surfactant will remove it. use paper towel if needed

What is 6% SH? Sodium Hydroxide?

I've had some success with odorcide in showers. It keeps killing the mold for a few days. I clean the shower then spray it on at the end.
