I remember asking Ken about 2 years ago, how does he find all his techs, and he responded "we never advertise or put ads on craigs, we get all of our techs thru referrals and our current customers", I thought it was such a great idea, I've been doing it ever since.

That was a great piece Brian, thanks for sharing it.

Tell me what you want in an employee. Are you looking for a long term employee? Do you want someone will stick for a year? Is this a career or a job? There are lots of things to consider in your hiring. Then your advertising will be tailored to what you are looking for to attract them. Bonus may or may not be the way to go. want a long term employee? Bonus is not appropriate bait. Want someone for a 6 month gig? - Give them a 6 month bonus. Etc.
