psst don't tell anyone here......but I would use........Ozone gas.

All that other stuff is but toys for little boys, you need the big hammer to remover years and years of smoke residue.

Did you ever clean (hand wipe) the headliner?

Sprayed and wiped down the head liner. Set off a whole big D after the fire bomb in it last night and let it set over night. I think it might have done it. If it comes back I'm going to rent the ozone machine and run it for a short time.

I'm getting the I told you so from the wife so I will not give up till it is gone.

Ozone for a day or two. The longer you do the better the odds. Hold your breath and start it up 2-3 times a day and crank the heat on high and let it run for 30 min or so. Do not forget to hold your breath or you will be coughing for about 30 min.

Works for me.
