Does everybody have their snow tires on yet? Had some Artic Claws mounted on winter rims put on yesterday. Wow, what a difference, great traction on packed snow & ice. Tire does not have a very aggressive tread but it sure chews through the snow.

If we get snowed in up here I will post again in the Spring after we "dig out". Have a good winter.

I remember snow tires  . I had the studded ones. My dad still laughs when I talk about them.

LOL! No. I had moved away for a few years when I was a corporate whore. I have lived in

Upstate New York (Ogdensberg,Madrid, Massena)
Bennington,VT (Near North Adams Mass)
Vernon/Rockville, CT (Worked in New Britain  )

I have had enough Snow to last me a lifetime. We quit and moved home in April of '99. :D Life is good again. 8)

My wife is from New Foundland, Canada So I still have to endure the cold on occasion. Her family is so great I feel warmed from the inside while I am there though.

Don't let your wife see that it's "Newfoundland" They are great people, we are getting over run with them out west. Because of the decline in the fisheries a lot of them are coming out here to work in the oil patch. My daughter has a Newfie boyfriend. They are generally good natured and light hearted. (hope it does not sound like I am describing a dog)

I know a guy who served in Korea, he said each platoon had a Newfoundlander in it for morale purposes.

Newfies know the best Newfie jokes!
My dad couldn't keep up with them :D

Good all seasons on my dualies. with 200gals of water on the back and my diesel, I don't get stuck too easily. Plus, I gots me a hot water pressure washer on board!! The first snow storm I was in out here, almost got stuck 3 times then actually did right in my parking lot before I could park. I pressure washed the snow away from the pavement under the tires for about 6' each way, then just drove into my parking spot.

I wonder how many days of snow we'll get out here this year, last yr was about 18-21.
