But does he still lift the wand after every stroke? :headscratch:
That advice you gave me caused a little damage on my shoulder. Anytime a mach15 is used…the wand has to be lifted

That stupid thing was too short and loved locking down to carpet

It's been over 2years since I used that wand. I discovered it was too short for me once I started using my pti

I’ve always been a power head (Rotovac) user.. I would rarely use a wand.. Mostly for flood work with flood wands (no solution lines or triggers)..

The PCTI wand was the first real wand I actually used.. Had a PMF 802 that was a backup if the RV broke.. Every other stock wand felt too heavy or a joke compared to it.. I currently use a Devpro wand if the carpet isn’t too bad.. I would never go back to a ridged wand again..

It seems they're trying to get me to give a flat price per room, even if the rooms are different sizes

"Matt,
I have shared your revised quote with our ownership and received some push back from them about the pricing. The biggest hang up would be the pricing per room. It's difficult to determine what the price per room is based on the quote. I realize that everyone prices differently and the quality of work is likely better then our previous carpet cleaner but we have to be able to justify the pricing. What we would like is to get a price for you to come out and do 6 rooms at the ********** to see your work. If that's something you are able to do please let me know so we can work on getting it scheduled. "

Unless there's communication otherwise, that's not what it seems like to me.

don't over think it, Matt.
give them a price per room based on sizes
Just quote $x for single, $y for double and $z for suites

don't make rocket science out of it.
if you know your costs and production times, this is all you need

I did give them the prices in my reply from that message. I told them the reason I price per floor instead of per room, and I also included the room prices in that reply. I still think they’re looking to chip off my prices just from the reputation of the hotel owners

"push back from owners" is also something I've heard from a commercial manager

I offered to discuss further with the owners personally, from the reaction it was clear that pricing hadn't even got to the owners level and probably never would

apparently, from this, "It's difficult to determine what the price per room is..."
they weren't clear on that

needs to be specific and clear without all the this that and the other stuff

I still think they’re looking to chip off my prices

could be, but doesn't appear they know what the price pr room is .
the "chipping" can't start til they have that "clearly".

and that doesn't matter either, cause it's your call whether negotiable or not

They originally told me that they have an entire floor cleaned once/month. So I gave them a price per floor.

Then they changed it, asking me what each room costed. Even though my minimum per visit is an entire floor.

I’ll tell them this if there’s another reply similar to that. I agree with you

if that's your bottom line, say so "clearly"

otherwise, change your minimum and give prices per room like they asked

un huh, and the next thing they'll tell you,

"if you can do them $2 dollars cheaper than the other guy, you'll get 6 more motels....
