Bob, If the cleaning solution is a sustained 220 doesn't that mean the engine is running at least that hot and probably hotter? Most engines run 195 to 210, where does the added heat come from? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, just an honest question.

honest answer: The temperature in a closed water cooling system goes thru several "cycles" of temperature in the cooling of an engine........
for example...as it leaves the radiator it has cooled off substantially...only to return to the BACK of the engine...to start cooling it again.........HOWEVER...if you tap in at the thermostat housing jus before the radiator...the water is the hottest......NAPA can order 205 stats....and that Butler is a two chamber one BAD BOY......which will push out at least 220.......now wasn't that easy-peesy!
