Is this product best used as a prespray rather than a RINSE agent?

Seems to be a question if it contains any corrosion inhibitors to be safely used thru your system.

We all know that running any OXY product will possibly corrode internal fittings etc.
I've done it in the past and replaced quick connects.

SOAP FREE contains this ingredient.

SODIUM CARBONATE PEROXYHYDRATE at 1-5%

Is this the culprite chemical that questions the corrosion inhibitor factor?

Also noticed the chemical description
AQUEOUS PARTIALLY FLOURINATED POLYMER 1-5%

What does this do?
Could they claim "EnCApsUlatioN" type cleaning?

And a final note.
The product claims "Soap Free"

But does that mean "Detergent Free"?

I think not.

I've tried it twice now as a prespray and it worked really well.

No suds/foam whats so ever when coming out of my HF.

I'm gonna get a bucket to give it the real test.

The percarbonate is a major factor in the corrosion that the product might cause, if not for a corrosion inhibitor. However, even if you were to eliminate the percarbonate, the product would still need a corrosion inhibitor because of other elements in the product.

The term "soap free" is a misnomer. No product designed for carpet cleaning contains actual soap. The term is a marketing expression designed to indicate that the product contains no surfactants (i.e. detergents, synthetic soap).

Our cleaning company has been using it for over a year. I had the cleaner keep some Powerburst and Citrus Solv handy in case he found one that it wouldn't clean, but he's not had to do that yet.

To be fair, the only commercial work we do are doctor's offices, churches, etc. The only rental properties that are cleaned are the ones that I own, and I have those cleaned twice a year.

I've boosted it with Citrus Solv when I clean a friend's house. He's a mechanic, and between the grease and the heavy amount of spills that could be expected from a hard drinking, hard living person, it stretches the ability of most products to get his carpet clean.

But is it true that it doesn't contain any "Detergents"?
