SOME HEATER HELP PLEASE

so i got this Dayton Infared 60,000 BTU heater in my shop....(yea way too big for a small garage) well it has worked great for 4 years now.....but the igniter has went out....so i got this one from Graingers......

it's a three prong...i see one prong but the other two MUST be under the red rubber boot.......
the dang rubber boot will NOT come off....i've pulled on it so hard i'm afraid it'll break....
anyone ever put one of these on......?

That's it...i've been searching for this for two weeks now.....
no i havn't got the old one off yet...it requires getting up on a ladder
which i USED to be able to do easily........now it ain't so easy..

thanks Dan.....that's it for sure...but the red rubber boot WILL NOT slip off .....i KNOW it has to come off to even get close to the other two spades inside...
crap i hope it's not the module

There's only one terminal inside the boot. The third prong refers to the electrode that's spot-welded to the mounting bracket. No need to pull the boot off - the heavily insulated orange high-voltage wire (think spark plug wire) goes there.

i already have the part..
there is just the boot with a small hole in the end for a wire to come out...looks lik it HAS to come off in order to attach to the spade inside......what am i missing here?

also as you know Sometimes turning things like that will help break it loose.

I sure you have a spark plug boot removal tool in that garage.

As Dan mentioned;

There is only one high voltage spark ignition wire that goes into the red boot.

It may snap in like a distributor connection on a car.

I have also seen some connections that require the high voltage wire to screw in,

but that is less likely.

naw...i jus flip the circuit breaker an lit it wit a long bic lighter for now......
haven't had anything going out there lately...
