How much work was it to raise the roof? Why did you choose the V over the Aerotech? Does the V fit in your garage?

Lance, I had a lot of help from employees and professional welders. We could have completed the job in 3 days, but got a major water job after day 2. We ratchet strapped the doors down and went. I choose the Vortex for several reasons; Jim Pemberton and I have been friends for 30 years, I had never bought a unit from him. When he started to sell Vortex we talked about the unit and he was very helpful in talking Tom Fielding into making me the first 230 gallon waste tank. While working with Blueline Equipment to get the truck built I was very impressed with the engineering and production people. They have been willing to listen to suggestions for improvements and implement them in the new Vortex I ordered in December. I will be taking delivery of my 2nd Vortex around March 1st.

You and Rampage are the only two I know that don't have the standard box height. I'm only 5'8" but the box at Connections felt a little too small for me. Do you use a pump out or dump at the end of the day?

I bet you can't keep from smiling everytime you use the V. Nice shelves also.

Jim, I am 5'9" also. It is nice to be able to walk under that door track without rapping my head on it. :D

We are getting more people going for the bigger box. Last week we delivered a 7 foot box. I myself like the smaller one but restoration guys really like the bigger one.
I like the barn doors out the back but some guys are going with the roll up. Its really a matter of what you personally need.

Ron did a great job, his truck looks great!

I have the huge waste tank also, I got it thinking I wouldn't need an APO but wish I had purchased the APO now

I am 5'10" and have hit the tracks with my head a few times

the only problem with the regular box is if you have the 230 waste tank, if you insulate the ceiling it can be a little tight but there is enough room

looks great Ron

Adam, Chuck and Thom are great to deal with. I have had a few minor issues and have always got someone on the phone to solve it

Ron the truck looked great at winterfest.

One question I noticed your printer in the cab and was wondering what brand of printer and mount and where did you buy them?

Anyone who says ducking the door rails is no big deal is lieing, it was a pleasure to walk around in Ron's V, made for an easy lift off of the waste tank lid as well, If I lived in the cold, I'd be building a garage to house the truck. Ron's truck was really nice and showed all of the BLUEline advancements well.

I'm still eager to see what kind of temps Ron's will sustain with a single 018 flow Ti wand after driving to a job and setting up first thing in the morning....report back kind sir.

Rob, The hose reels are made in New York by a company named Hannay Reels. The address is 553 State Route 143, Westerlo, NY 12193. Phone number is 1 800 467-3357. I bought mine through a local dealer.

I am 100% sure that I would have bought a Vortex by now from Cleaners Closet if they would have backed me up on my White Magic issues. Perhaps two. But they chose to tell me to take a hike and take my business elsewhere.

So I have turned my lemons into fire-breathing,Vortex sucking beasts by myself instead. And put my 50k savings into full color advertising, cuz I ain't skerred!

Actually I'm glad I never have to walk in there again and say "how are ya'll today" and hear negative people reply "SAME OLD S-H-I-T , JUST ANOTHER DAY".

Rob Allen, never been happier! :D

all that modifying and your still running 2" hose. What's the Dillyo? You need 2.5" hose.
