The price point advertising around here is getting intense. A good owner op need not get sucked up in it, but it’s hard to grow much beyond that if carpet cleaning is the primary revenue without competing on price. I wish that kind of pricing was limited to craigslist. Steemer is still cleaning for $30 a rm or less around here. There is a guy in the yellow pages that will clean a whole house for $149.00 (up to 2500 sqft blowme )

How many home owners even understand what an RX20 with 5 spray jets and 5 vacuums mean? Heck many have NO clue what a TM is. Most advertising carpet cleaners do is meant to impress other cleaners and not home owners.
