I was looking at an ad in Australia for a Hydramaster cds 4.8 installed in a Toyota Hiace van. Brand new price $43,000 au. That's $29,000 usd. Oh yeah, with the salsa package. How can the price be so low there and so high here?

I don't care where it's made. That's a hell of a deal. Cheaper to import one from Australia than buy one here. Except they drive on the wrong side of the road.

doubt it will be new toyota hiace but Japanese import ( nothing wrong with imports) as its a lot more regulated than it used to be (for NZ at least and presumably Aus) my old 93 hiace is an import

I've had Toyota Hi Aces LWB since 1983.

Love them, ultra reliable.

For my work, the SLWB is too high to get under low ceilings.

With mine, I can get under 2 metres (6'6").
