I'm not saying at the prices of the items I talked about aren't worth it for us cleaners. I was just saying that they are priced high. I know that the procaps is the cheapest crb on the market or one of the cheapest and is a good value. But if you think about what is involved in making the item it is high just like everything in our industry. There is tons of mark up. I know cause I have gotten items way under retail and had the person selling the item tell me flat out that they were still making good money (and that was about 21% under retail).
I do agree with Rex that most of the problem is with freight cost and the structure of sales and having a middle man. And I do understand the fact that volume makes a difference too. But I do still feel that a lot is over priced and I haven't bought items that I want due to the fact that I feel that it's not worth the cash. But also keep in mine that I'm probably one of the most broke carpet cleaners on this board.
