you truck idle at?

and where are you getting your idle speed from.

i ask because i had to set my idle on the new panel and i went ahead and set it to a starting rpm of 600. so what i want to know if that is a good starting set point for my rpm gauge or am i off?

also keep in mind my truck is a 99 and does not have a tach on the dash. thank you in advance for your response.

600 rpm, that is what the control panel reads when pto is engaged. No change in the engine idle on the truck.
