I think Mark's Butler set up is around 80k so 100k doesn't seem too much for this. I know Mikey's Crew does a lot of residential with it...so what are the disadvantages to this equipment? Gas milage?

Do you have any issues with those trucks freezing the heat exchanger that sits below the truck?

I believe that particular HX is glycol filled.

nOT ON THE COAST.

On the modern non Xentherm Aerotechs there are no exchangers underneath.

On the Vortex and real old ATs, those exchangers are exhaust/oil so no fear of freezing.

Fuel use is a bit better than a CDS/cargo van. 3 to 4% of gross for us.
We have close to a 500,00 combo miles on the UD/V

That is a truck with 160,000 miles worth 45,000 max.

At 4000 hours the truck is not used up per say but around the 5000 hour mark is where all the big ticket maintenance items tend to pop up, that could easily cost upwards of 15 grand to get ironed out.
