Bill;

It is a good thing to do for grout that has darkened in color.

I spray the floor with a high pH cleaner (PowerMax).

Then i sprinkle a powder oxidizer (Powder Brightener) over the worst areas.

Brush it one time with a 18" wide brush.

The powder oxidizer will settle in the grout lines and lighten the color.
